Service — Cut Vinyl & Fleet Graphics

Lettering, decals, and fleets that match.

Not every vehicle needs a full wrap. A clean set of cut vinyl door graphics, a phone number people can actually read, and consistent placement across every truck in the fleet will do more for a working business than most wraps do.

What This Covers

The unglamorous work that quietly wins jobs.

Cut vinyl is exactly what it sounds like: solid-color vinyl cut to shape, weeded, and applied — no printed background, no laminate, no seams. For a company name, a phone number, a logo, and DOT or contractor license numbers, it's cleaner and cheaper than printing, and it lasts as long or longer.

The reason to care is consistency. When six trucks carry the same logo at the same size in the same place on the door, a customer who sees three of them in a week reads it as one substantial company. When every truck is a little different because they were done at three different shops over five years, it reads as exactly what it is. We keep fleet specs on file so truck number seven matches truck number one.

And because we're a full print house, the same job can include the banners for your booth, the yard signs, the window graphics on your storefront, and the magnets for the personal vehicle. One shop, one brand standard, one invoice.

We can also come to you. Where the site permits it, cut vinyl and fleet graphics are well suited to on-site installation — and when several vehicles are due at once, coordinating one visit to your yard is usually easier on everybody than shuttling trucks over one at a time. We need a reasonably clean, sheltered spot out of wind and direct sun, and the vehicles washed and dry. Tell us where they live and we'll tell you whether it works.

Door & Tailgate Lettering

Company name, phone, web address, and logo in cut vinyl. The fastest, most cost-effective way to make a work vehicle earn its keep.

Fleet Standardization

Specs kept on file so every new vehicle matches the last one — same size, same placement, same colors.

On-Site Installation

Where the site allows it, we'll install at your yard — usually the simplest option when several vehicles are due at the same time.

DOT, License & Permit Numbers

USDOT, MC, CA numbers, and contractor license lettering at the required sizes, placed where inspectors expect them.

Windows, Banners & Signage

Storefront window graphics, perforated rear windows, printed banners, magnets, and large-format signage from the same shop.

Materials & Longevity

Cheap vinyl is expensive twice.

Vinyl lettering fails in predictable ways: it fades, it cracks, or the edges lift and collect dirt. All three come down to material choice and surface prep. We use cast and premium calendered films rated for the exposure the vehicle actually gets, and we prep the surface properly rather than slapping graphics onto a dusty door.

Expect five to seven years from a properly specified set of door graphics in this climate. The version that costs half as much from an online shop and arrives in a tube will look tired in two summers, and you'll pay the labor to remove and redo it — which is the part that actually costs money.

We also do removals. If you've bought used vehicles with somebody else's branding on them, we'll strip the old graphics, deal with the adhesive and the sun-shadow left behind, and apply yours.

Straight answers, no runaround.

Is cut vinyl cheaper than a wrap?

Considerably. A set of door graphics with a logo and phone number is a fraction of a partial wrap, and for many service businesses it's all that's needed.

How long does installation take?

Most single-vehicle lettering jobs are done same-day. Fleets get scheduled in batches so you're not short vehicles.

Can you install at our yard instead of your shop?

Often, yes — if the site permits it. Cut vinyl and fleet lettering are well suited to on-site work, and when you've got several vehicles due at once it's usually easier to coordinate one visit to your yard than to shuttle trucks back and forth one at a time. What we need is a reasonably clean, sheltered spot out of wind and direct sun, and vehicles that are washed and dry. Full wraps are a different matter — those want controlled shop conditions. Tell us the location and we'll tell you honestly whether it'll work.

Can you match my existing fleet graphics?

Yes. Send photos and measurements, or bring one vehicle by. We'll match colors, sizes, and placement, then keep the spec on file for next time.

Do you handle DOT and license numbering?

Yes, at the required sizes and placements. Tell us your numbers and vehicle type and we'll handle the rest.

Can I supply my own printed graphics?

Yes — we offer installation as a standalone service and apply most client-supplied prints.

Do you remove old graphics?

We do. Removal, adhesive cleanup, and honest advice about any sun-shadow left in the paint underneath.

Make the whole fleet look like one company.
